My favorite spring color is mint- and to no surprise mint is the color of my two new great lovers - this blazer and this bag. I fell in love with both of them instantly- they are my absolute favorite things in my closet!  What's a better color to contrast than neon yellow?! it doesn't exist- neon is a great color to inject into any outfit. Someone try and stop my mint and neon addiction...I date ya :)  yea I'm an addict to mint and neon- the best color combos....ever !

Back in Classic Black

The title of this post is cheesy I know, but I totally had to. I have been m.i.a from the blog for a while, which really breaks my heart because blogging is something I truly enjoy doing. It's an outlet for me to express my self and escape my real world ( which can be overwhelming and stressful at times). I don't want to sound like I'm whining, because I really do have so much I have to be thankful for. Everyday is a chance for us to do something , either work towards a goal , smile, or just relax. Sometimes some days ,weeks, or even months are harder than others. I think its important for us to find time in the middle of all the madness to do at least one thing we truly love.

Hope whats left of this weeks brings you joy ( maybe the whole year too) !

I am all about color... I mean how can a person not be with such beautiful prints this spring?  My last post had a this Prabal dress , and today I am sharing my other Prabal purchase. I have probably worn this shirt way too much since I first bought it- which is surprising that this is its first appearance on my blog. I thought it would be clever to pair the top with lace shorts since the top has a subtle lace print...I try to be clever :) I hope you like it ! XO

The weather has finally permitted me to wear this gorgeous Prabal dress from the Target Collection. I have worn it here as a top and paired it with a black skirt . I can't help but feel a little more edgy when I wear leather [or fake plastic leather ;) ] I hope you like the look - I will be wearing this a lot more I'm sure .

Have you noticed how silver shoes are every where ?? Well , I decided, I too needed a pair of silver shoes in my closet and quickly snagged this pair. I was a little hesitant about silver shoes because they remind me of prom ... you know the silver shoes that were worn to formal high school dances( well at least in my case) . Moving on, I decide to jump on board with the silver shoes trend.... but realized I don't own very much silver jewelry.... this is now at the top of my shopping list. ;)

After looking at these pictures I realized I was wearing all my favorites. I am completely in love with these jeans, I'm also currently obsessed with this mint turquoise color, I love my leather booties with small crystal detailing , and my new lace print sunnies. I have probably worn all these items a little too often... but isn't that how we know we made a good purchase? Aren't our favorites just what we naturally pull out of closets day after day? Well at least for me it is. :)

Lately I have been obsessing over this beautiful color.... it just reminds me of Caribbean waters, a relaxing paradise. All of these mint pieces go perfectly with my fantasy. I love the array of mint-blue tones and delicate details. Spring come in mint this year... well, at least, this will be the case in my closet !
