I'm a huge fan of the big floppy hats, more so when they are burgundy! Instant chic ! With the weather being so cold these past months it's hard to wear dresses or skirts ,so layering on a cardi and a jacket can add lots of warmth -without being overly bulky. The forecast here in southern California says that it will be warming up the next few days so an outfit like this is really versatile for the dynamic weather .
